re: Will HP Sell Autonomy, EDS?
EDS was in dire straits after the disaster former-CEO Dick Brown left behind and the incumbent management was in no shape to clean up the damage. They were glad to get bought by a stable company, but I don't think HP knew what they bought nor figured out what to do with it. As it is, EDS is no shape to stand on its own despite the immense wealth of talent they have.

Apparently, HP doesn't want to sell either. I do think that EDS should never have been bought (the motivation appears to have been empire building on Mark Hurd's part) and should be sold back to the public, but that's not my call.

Our results suggest IT leaders should worry less about whether they're getting enough resources and more about the relationships they have with business unit peers.
