Among the many enterprise software companies I cover, SAP is among the best at coming up with customer references and case examples, and they're usully pretty high-level executives. It's not that other companies don't have lots of customers, they just don't cultivate them and communicate with them the way SAP seems to.

I'm working on a project with SAP relating to its rapid deployment solutions, and I'm astonished at the breadth and depth of its customer case studies G㢠especially the numbers who are willing to be named, which doesn't always happen. I suspect the ability to get fixed-schedule, fixed-budget enterprise software deployments completed helped contribute to these results!
