Nobody cares. Not even MSFT+Blackberry could become relevant let alone BB by itself. Snore.

I'm not sure BB10 and its associated hardware will make a huge impact with consumers. Consumers will not be hooked by yet another product similar to iOS and Android, or even Windows Phone 8, especially given iOS's and Android's vastly larger and superior app selections. But IT departments will have plenty of reasons to implement BB10 into their corporate environments.

When I joined the organization I'm currently working for 3 years ago, I loathed being given a Blackberry device and I was thrilled when they allowed employees to BYOD so that I could use my iPhone instead. However, had I been given one of these new BB10 devices, I can say I definitely would have not been disappointed and would have been perfectly content to be required to use it.

The problem now with BB is that they are too little, too late. Americans love a winner. BB is not even an "also ran." What person is going to want to pull out the BB and be the butt of jokes? The vast majority of people who will buy in to BB already have an ancient device they've held on to. At least BB may stem the bleeding.

Good luck BB. If you can steal some thunder from Microsoft, you'll be lucky!
