re: BlackBerry 10 Sees Strong U.K. Sales, Launches In Canada
RIM said today: GǣIn Canada, yesterday was the best day ever for the first day of a launch of a new BlackBerry smartphone. In fact, it was more than 50% better than any other launch day in our history in Canada,Gǥ said Thorsten Heins, President & CEO of BlackBerry. GǣIn the UK, we have seen close to three times our best performance ever for the first week of sales for a BlackBerry smartphone.Gǥ

It's good to see, I think. BlackBerry devices are still quite popular internationally, and most people I talk to actually would like to consider a BlackBerry 10 device. It'll be fun to see a race for 3rd place between BlackBerry and Microsoft. It will also be interesting to see what the U.S. demand for BlackBerry 10 is. It won't be too hard to beat recent BlackBerry numbers, so the bar is low enough that success is probably inevitable.
