re: NASA Reports Space Station Communications Outage Fixed
Was there any foul play involved in loosing the ability to communicate with the space station? Was this just a glitch, error, or one time thing and more importantly will it have the ability to lose communication again? It is good that all other areas of the station seemed to be not effected at all by the loss of communication. I will end on this note if NASA is planning to build a 1billion dollar station they had better figure out what went wrong in the first place.

re: NASA Reports Space Station Communications Outage Fixed
A three-hour communications lapse between mission control and the Space Station is a scary reminder of just how small the margin of error is for NASA missions. I would like to know more about the sequence of events around the system upgrade that caused the snafu. As it happens, NASA plans to host a Google+ Hangout with the Space Station crew this coming Friday (Feb. 22). Ironically, NASA is promoting the event with the headline "You Can Connect With The Space Station This Week." Let's hope so.
