Nick Hoover is right. $1500 seems about 3X high to me, given what we know about the market's appetite for gadget prices.

What do you think of Google's approach, asking people to "apply" to participate?

The price here is a bit steep, but I bet that if they can get it down to $500, there will be plenty of takers.
