re: Code.org Urges Students To Embrace Programming
As InformationWeek's Rob Preston touched on in his related column on immigration reform, U.S. students need to be convinced the industry is committed to hiring them en masse. See the column: http://www.informationweek.com....

Is this kind of video pep talk from Zuck genuinely helpful? What often speaks the loudest to students about employment is what they see happening close-up as their friends get job offers -- or do not.

Folks, what code.org is doing is a start.

But if we don't find a way to end age discrimination in the software industry, these kids will end up where many of us are at now and this is unacceptable if we want to Keep America At Work.

Will you help by signing my White House petition to end age discrimination in the software industry?
