This innovative approach towards cancer research harnessing the powers of people is a great example of how technology can be used for the improvement of healthcare worldwide. If truly successful we will probably see an increase in projects such as these. As scientists are few and far between and unable to process the large amounts of data available, using the aid of people through technology could become more commonplace. I think itGs nice to see these big IT companies work together and use their technologies for the greater good.
