Bravo!
Congrats @Rob and the whole team at InformationWeek. Really looking forward to being a part of this community and joining in the discussions.

Your content has always been top-notch and I can see that nothing has changed there. What's exciting to me is the way you're giving us a forum now to be able to interact and learn from your team and from one another. Thanks for bringing us all together!

Inevitability of Change and Inter-linked Relationships
Firstly Congratulations! Especially to the community! Secondly, it was inevitable as for years upon years InformationWeek has been delivering quality information to a tech community, changing its attitude and understanding -- in turn the community has changed InformationWeek with its high-tech solutions and openness, that's the inter-linked relationship I was talking about.

However, nothing is complete yet as change is an on-going process, they have been many single and isolated solutions like Big-Data, SDN, IMS, Cloud etc, government policy, business strategies and many more, that have at some point or the other seemed like that single exclusive silver bullet that will solve everything but the reality has always been that they have their limitations. The one thing that does not have any limitations is, if we can openly match up everything against everything else in an economy to create efficiency, then great things will happen.

The Business of Going Digital
The Business of Going Digital
Digital business isn't about changing code; it's about changing what legacy sales, distribution, customer service, and product groups do in the new digital age. It's about bringing big data analytics, mobile, social, marketing automation, cloud computing, and the app economy together to launch new products and services. We're seeing new titles in this digital revolution, new responsibilities, new business models, and major shifts in technology spending.
