re: Facebook's Revamped News Feed: 3 Things To Do
This sounds like it should be and interesting change to anticipate. I have not seen the new news feed at all, but my friends and family posts are not even close to a daily newspaper. My Facebook feed is not set up, nor is my intended purpose, to use this for anything more than to check some cool links and keep in touch. These are 2 completely different areas that should not try to be compared. I am pretty content with the way I currently view my news feed, although I donG«÷t utilize my the application much on my mobile device, the reason that initiated this whole change. Smart move on behalf of Facebook to realize the demand from the mobile market and address improvements. I guess time will tell.

re: Facebook's Revamped News Feed: 3 Things To Do
I wonder how many users will actually take the time to set up the various specialized streams to filter out the content they wish to see on the "front page." I know a few passive users, myself included, and setting up various streams is never something I felt like I had the time to do. Also, do we know how how much impact these new news feeds will have on Facebook's goals to better position itself for becoming Google's rival search engine? Could the bigger emphasis on photos be part of those plans?
