re: EHR Interoperability A Hot Topic At HIMSS
Any advances in interoperability between health exchanges can always be seen as a good thing. One of the main problems plaguing healthcare IT has been and remains to be the lack of interoperability. With Meaningful Use 2 coming up and providers having to account for some form of HIE, we will see more vendors moving towards offering interoperability. These vendors can join the groups that have already been formed and hopefully work towards creating a nationwide HIE for the future.
