My hinge on the kickstand broke. A $2 part is costing me $450!!!
Gawd I hate microsoft. The hinge on my surface pro 2 came loose and got wrecked. That's it. Everything else is perfect, not a scratch on it. $2 piece broke. Now I have to pay $450 for an entire new one. Horrible.

I purchased a MS Pro about two weeks ago. My boyfriend said, I think you love your Surface more than me. He could be right.

I remember with MS first brought the Xbox to market, nothing but troubles and a repair process right out of H E double hockey sticks. Why would anybody think things would be different with the Surface Pro?

re: Microsoft Surface Pro Repairs Will Cost You
This was really an opportunity for HP or Dell to clobber Microsoft and Apple by brining to market a kick-butt tablet running Win8 but as it turns out there are no manufacturers with the foresight of Apple in the PC world. Surface Pro is too expensive, too under powered, too heavy, and too confusing of a UI over Win7 to complete with an iPad or Nexus 10.
