re: Twitter Preps Music App
The music industry is
a very hard industry to decide to get involved with. They already have
established and proven solutions through other vendors that they need to make
quite a large impact on the music industry to take business away for the
already existing providers. The article pointed out a few companies that have
been successful in the industry, is there a list of failed companies, and IG«÷ll
bet it is much longer than the successful list.

re: Twitter Preps Music App
I think this is a good move for Twitter; the design and setup of the music discovery system seems like it will fit well with Twitter users' habits. The #NowPlaying and #Popular tabs will really encourage discovery, but the #Emerging tag seems to be the most intriguing, as it will be beneficial to both music fans and artists looking to gain a wider audience -- a win-win for both parties.
