To be successful as accountable care organizations the
payers, providers, and patients need to all be taken into account. This
framework outlined by Lumeris looks like it hits on all the points needed.
Everyone needs to be involved in the patient care process all the way from the
payer down to the patient, in order for the goal of better patient care at more
affordable costs is to be reached.
