I find it interesting Infor has taken the same route as Microsoft since they both have the same problem, too many overlapping ERP products doing the same things. Asking these vendors which ERP product is right for me, the answer is anyone you want. In addition Infor's UI overhaul doesn't apply to most of their ERP products resulting in continued market confusion.

More on Infor investments Tuesday at Inforum: The company has acquired product configuation management vendor TDCI, a firm that has 250+ joint customers and that's also integrated with Oracle, Microsoft and Epicor ERP systems. Technology supports complex product configuration, customization, bidding, quotation and custom sales complete to submission of purchase orders.
