re: 13 WordPress Add-Ons That Mean Business
It seems like Yoast offers a simpler solution for SEO beginners or those running their own sites for their own personal businesses, which is a good thing. One thing I have always liked about WordPress is its simplicity, and that carries over to most of its add-ons.

re: 13 WordPress Add-Ons That Mean Business
It is unfortunate that articles like this do not do more fact checking. One of the security plugin's recommended in the article (WordPress Firewall 2) has not been updated in over 2 years:

!This plugin hasn't been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress."

So if you try to apply it not only could it break your WordPress site, but it could give you a false sense of security, buggy and vulnerable code, etc.

I see this time and again, quick and dirty WordPress security recommdations that are not properly vetted.

Please do better!

It is now the second quarter of the new year.

Information Week only had one important New Year's Resolution this year. '"No Slide Show Articles with out a prominent 'View-as-one-page' link." How's that working out for you so far?

BTW, you really ruined my day and I'm not happy about that.

IT's Reputation: What the Data Says
InformationWeek's IT Perception Survey seeks to quantify how IT thinks it's doing versus how the business really views IT's performance in delivering services - and, more important, powering innovation. Our results suggest IT leaders should worry less about whether they're getting enough resources and more about the relationships they have with business unit peers.
