re: Cigna To Offer Telehealth Coverage To Self-Insured
It will be interesting to see how this will pan out. I know
there are other companies offering telehealth services and havenG«÷t really been
hearing any bad things about this. I know in the past there were concerns as to
the quality of patient care that can be obtained through this method, but solutions
must have been discovered for this to become so widely accepted. IG«÷m pretty
sure that a company such as Cigna wouldnG«÷t offer a service that they hasnG«÷t
been tested and approved.

re: Cigna To Offer Telehealth Coverage To Self-Insured
A lot of the early discussions around telehealth have been pitched around cutting costs and reaching people in remote areas. I think we're going to see a growth in the convenience pitch: Can I do this visit virtually so I don't have to bundle the three kids up to let you look at the one sick one? I have 20 minutes between meetings downtown so can I squeeze in a consult with my doctor near my home?

When it comes to managing data, donít look at backup and archiving systems as burdens and cost centers. A well-designed archive can enhance data protection and restores, ease search and e-discovery efforts, and save money by intelligently moving data from expensive primary storage systems.
