re: Microsoft Store Slashes Windows 8 Device Prices
This is an easy call. If you are even thinking about buying the abomination called Windows 8 on one of these devices, you should wait. In the very near future, Microsoft will either change Windows 8 to bring back the original desktop (in some form), or they won't. If they don't, the platform is screwed. If they do, then OEM's will try to get rid of the current devices as much as possible, since many of them are already "in the channel" and will not be pulled back for OS refresh. The prices will drop like bricks.

Our results suggest IT leaders should worry less about whether they're getting enough resources and more about the relationships they have with business unit peers.
