re: Kolodner Joins Telehealth Firm ViTel Net
The telehealth field really has taken off in terms of the services being provided, and the software that is available. Part of this can be attributed with the huge jump in hand held devices that are capable of collecting this data and transmitting information, given the advances in cell phones and tablets and their widespread use among the population. It will be interesting to see if we can integrate telehealth into hospital EHR systems and other health IT systems to create a unified healthcare system.
