Its great to see that e-prescribing has taken off and is being more widely adopted and used than ever before. Even if we remove the incentives and penalties associated with e-prescribing, I believe the value added to physicians and to the healthcare industry itself will be more than enough for these numbers to continue to rise. Even though there are some kinks such as the medication history and benefits being out of date, the overall benefits associated with e-prescribing greatly outweigh the negatives.
