People are actually buying Windows 8 for use in a business environment or even for home and then bringing them to work?

The reason that I ask is that in supporting an organization of over 1,000 users, I've only had one person come to me with a Windows 8 system (a small, netbook sized laptop) and it was to help install RAM for it since 4 GB clearly wasn't enough for the system.

There haven't even been the questions asked about what the IT department thinks about Win8 or what systems we recommend for use with it - and this is in an organization that's utilizing and deploying cutting edge technology across the board.

Overall, Win8 hasn't made enough of a noise to get our attention. Maybe that's different elsewhere... would love to hear if someone's actually made a business case for using Win8 (either as a desktop OS or mobile OS) in an enterprise environment.
