Steelcase Nabs A Good One
I interviewed Tim for our 2012 InformationWeek 500 awards and profiled Dow as one of our top Innovation award winners for its work on analytics (search "Dow Chemical Moves Analytics Into Mainstream"). I also met Tim at our InformationWeek 500 event that year, and it's very clear he's on the ball.

With Rey's guidance and support from the top, Dow took the analytics expertise out of the Ivory Tower of R&D and put it to work across the company. The first payoffs were in logistics and demand planning, but they kept rolling from there. They kept moving on to the next area to optimize, replicating successes and picking up new best practices along the way.

Congrats to Tim on the move to Steelcase. I expect the supply chain to be optimized in short order.

Modest excitement
Tim's quite modest about the work he's doing, but also clearly excited by it.
