These trends will only go upwards as more physicians and
organizations begin to embrace healthcare IT. As many articles in the past have
stated, this is going to need to be more of a cultural shift if it is going to
be successful. With more organizations adopting EHR systems and therefore having
their providers use the systems, we are going to see more of a breakdown in the
reluctance of some providers to accept the changes, and those that refuse to adapt
will be left behind.
