Personally, a low price tag won't encourage someone like me to purchase anything running Windows 8. I'd rather cough up the extra money for something that, in my experience, is worth the extra money.

Is $300 still a magic price point for consumer devices? $100 and $300 traditionally have been very important. I am pondering a replacement device for a family member right now and the only thing I am stumbling on with regard to iPad is Flash. That's the situation Intel faces.
