This is supposed to be Win8's compelling advantage. Unfortunately, Microsoft seriously underestimated, as did I, the importance of that damn Start button. I'm now wondering if they have also underesimated not just the button but the menu that goes with it. We'll have to wait and see if folks embrance 8.1 or if they feel it's just more of the same miss as 8 from the context of classic desktop customers.
