re: LinkedIn: Apply For Jobs Via Your Smartphone
I think this has been a long time coming. How often are candidates recruited based on the accomplishments, recommendations, and skills listed in their resumes? A LinkedIn profile usually contains the same info one might put into a resume. I think allowing a LinkedIn profile to be submitted in place of a resume finally allows candidates to take advantage of the latest technology to get ahead. Allowing them to do so via mobile saves a lot of time and only makes sense in today's mobile world.

re: LinkedIn: Apply For Jobs Via Your Smartphone
Linkedin allows for anonymous viewers to creep at ones profile. I have been stalked for 2 years now and have portions of my resume copy and pasted elsewhere by someone else. For 2 years I have asked Linkedin for a blocking feature and they refuse. Now if you want to know who is looking at your profile, you have to pay. They still allow one to set their profile to an anonymous status and creep all day long. Linkedin with its cyber bullying enabling has financially devastated me. This after being a member for 8 years. No one, should be peering into your information without you knowing who it is, including recruiters. If you like your economic well being untouched, stay away from Linkedin.
