re: iPhone Reveal Eyed For Sept. 10
I constantly overhear people talking about upgrading to the new iPhone 5 as soon as it comes out "if the price is right." Nobody has any idea what to expect but I get the sense the public is ready to be wowed.. I hope Apple doesn't disappoint. And if I can get one wish, it's that the charger stays the same.

Interesting point -- If the user experience with the 5S and 5C is pretty much identical, why would I invest in the 5S? Will be interesting to see how Apple addresses this.

It'll be interesting to see how the iPhone 5C get priced, and if emerging markets take to it. If it includes the same internals as the iPhone 5S, the user experience should be relatively uncompromised. If there isn't more differentiation between the models, seems like the 5C could cannibalize some potential 5S sales. Both will sell great, and the more iOS users, the merrier-- but Apple lives on high margin devices, and if the 5C is successful, it could disrupt that MO.

IT's Reputation: What the Data Says
InformationWeek's IT Perception Survey seeks to quantify how IT thinks it's doing versus how the business really views IT's performance in delivering services - and, more important, powering innovation. Our results suggest IT leaders should worry less about whether they're getting enough resources and more about the relationships they have with business unit peers.
