Patience -- The statements the VIP CEO made concerning FedRAMP aren't entirely true:
"the Meridian solution has FedRAMP certification"

"We were fortunate and believed that one of our differentiators [was that] we were the only ones that already had it."

It is true that VIP teamed with CGI Federal who will provide the underlying IaaS which does hold a FedRAMP ATO, but VIP does not have a FedRAMP ATO, nor does the Meridan solution. For this solution to be FedRAMP complaint per OMB and FedRAMP guidance, Meridian will still need to seek a SaaS FedRAMP ATO. The "Meridian solution" does not have "FedRAMP certification".

Funny that so many projects still don't include mobile as a phase one priority

When it comes to managing data, donít look at backup and archiving systems as burdens and cost centers. A well-designed archive can enhance data protection and restores, ease search and e-discovery efforts, and save money by intelligently moving data from expensive primary storage systems.
