Surely the answer is not to require coding as business logic never changes. It is what 6GL is about and is "agile" no code generation and innovative thinking v quickly turned into the application working directly and dynamically with users?

The need for speed goes beyond app dev, of course. But app dev bottlenecks are the biggest obstacle to getting business done that I know of.

Definitely a challenge on a timeline, but if one of the "must have" goals from the get-go is security, and that goal is budgeted for in the timeline, it should be accomplished.

Agile project management is the way to go! I've worked on web dev projects with different management and workflow styles and agile management has been the most successful, driving innovation and creativity--on a timeline.

One gripe with rolling out code at this velocity is security - how can IT balance scanning and analysis, and testing for interactions, with timeliness?
