re: Enterprise Cloud Apps: Next Stop, ERP
We wrote about the cloud ERP startup Kenandy earlier this year, based on an interview with founder Sandy Kurtzig (who led MANMAN in its heyday). Link below. One key point Kurtzig made was that at MANMAN, she was used to selling AROUND the CIO, going the manufacturing leaders. Today, with Kenandy, more often CIOs are DRIVING the cloud ERP discussion. Update since our article: Kurtzig raised $33 million in venture funding this summer for Kenandy.

re: Enterprise Cloud Apps: Next Stop, ERP
Kenandy, NetSuite, QAD, Workday... the list of pure-play SaaS ERP grows while the likes of Epicor, Infor, Oracle and SAP are adding various flavors (hosting, managed service, private-cloud, multitenant) of "cloud" ERP. It's getting interesting, but one thing is certain: "Core apps" (whatever that means) are no longer confined to on-premises deployment.
