(It had better not dump Zunes on schools, though. That would not be cool.)

Indeed, ridiculous as it sounds, cool could be the problem. Getting Surface RTs into classrooms is half of Microsoft's challenge. The other half is making the students want to keep using Windows products when they get back home, instead of jumping onto whatever iOS or Android gadget they're already using.
