re: How Patient Generated Data Changes Healthcare
There's a hot discussion on LinkedIn about this story, and one of the points raised is that we need to change the reimbursement model for physicians not only to create the incentive to spend time assessing patient generated data, but also enough reward to make the risk of holding and managing that data worthwhile.

re: How Patient Generated Data Changes Healthcare
With other industries relying on and using technology so efficiently, its about time that the healthcare industry takes heed. There is so much potential in the efficient use of technology, especially with using patient generated data. With the growing popularity of mobile health technology, the means are there to collect the data, now organizations just have to worry about what data is relevant and how to use the data effectively.
