I just made a correction to the text above, which originally included a reference to Yammer having a "pretty capability-free version," which is not what I meant (although it is kind of funny) but probably the result of our copy editors trying to clean up something that was unclear in my writing. What I meant to say is that the free version of Yammer is pretty capable, meaning that includes almost all the same features as the paid version. Serious users usually find a reason to upgrade, but a small business determined to stretch the free version as far as possible could get a lot of use out of it without signing up.

Anyway, *that's* what I intended to say.
