Does the union have a political agenda in bringing this to light? Maybe it doesn't matter if the complaint is legitimate, but I'm wondering about the labor relations subtext.

Subtexts abound, but the most important issue remains consumer data security. Consumers' management of their own data-- with liabilities and vulnerabilities expanding daily-- never has been more important.
