re: LG's Curved Smartphone 'Heals' Itself
I'm interested in how exactly the "self-healing" works -- particularly in the wake of recent research that has developed a polymer that not only does self-heal, but actually gets stronger when mechanically stressed. This research has been touted as a step in creating an "unbreakable" smartphone -- so I'm curious how similar LG's technology is and what it is based on.

It looks interesting. I don't believe it'll be very popular tho. Perhaps for women with tight pants or for guys who want to put it in the front pocket and get a 6 inches curved ...
I was wondering how much improvement of voice and sound quality can you get with just a few millimeters?

Eric, if you think LG's marketing is overblown, take a gander at your headline. I'd scarcely call a phone 'self-healing' if the only thing that heals itself is minor scratches on the back of the phone.

Such a new innovative design, yet all the author can do is belittle the company and add inappropriate snide remarks whenever possible. I thought these columnists are supposed to be unbiased? Caution Eric, your fanboyism is showing.
