re: Michigan Health Networks Joins eHealth Exchange
Does this national system have any practical impact today? What's the likely time horizon for getting more of the state and regional HIEs on the network?

The eHealth Exchange doesn't yet have a lot of impact, and there's no timeline for getting statewide and regional HIEs onboard--it's voluntary for them. But if participation is growing as fast as Yeager says, and if Healtheway/IWG can get everyone certified to use the same standards, it could have a huge impact.

I hope that HIEs usage will extend to other areas quickly. I am really intrigued by how eHE will be offered in a plug and play version..
