I completely agree. In fact, anyone who wants to use a phone on a plane should be required to wear a sound-proof bag over his or her head while doing so. Oxygen could be sold as an extra.

I couldn't agree more strongly with Laurianne. I only wish they would ban cell phone use once you get back to Boston and you're on public transport back to your final destination in the city.

Cell phone boors
That middle seat on your flight from Boston to San Francisco is bad enough without listening to the person next to you talk on the cell phone the whole time. This could take airplane hell to a whole new level. This has been the overwhelming sentiment on my Twitter feed with regard to this development. Anyone feel differently?
