Re: Simplicity is Beauty
Yes Li, this kind of simple and logical presentation makes sense and difference, the businessman would love to check pie chart about goods and finance rather than reading long reports but before this i am little worried and curious to understand views on quality of data which will further manufacture analysis.

Simplicity is Beauty
Fully agree the points here - the data analytics result should be presented in a simple and straightforward way. The logic behind can be complex and feature-rich but the presentation format should visual and easy to demonstrate. Furthermore, it should be mobile friendly, especially for various tablets and smartphones with big screen - the businessman would need such kind of presentation instead of lengthy and complex figures.

self-service analytics
Can anyone in companies offering more self-service analytics speak to the challenges you've faced? One difficulty is convincing people of the "best" way to view the data. The truth may not serve the person's purposes.

PS: One quibble with the headline of this landing page. It's not about "IT delivering." That's what's wrong with BI and analytics today. It's about end users having tools that let them serve themselves.
