Yes, HP a surprise; Cisco a bigger one
Yes,  HP was something of a surpirse, but in my opinion, it is a trusted supplier for infrastructure. It's consistently been more engaged with working with other vendors than bad mouthing competitors, a la a Sun or Oracle. It's maturity has stood it in good stead when it comes to creating a neutral, private cloud infrastructure. It's early embrace of OpenStack didn't hurt either. The surprise to me was Cisco as number two. Microsoft I sort of expected as number three. This wsa not a casual study. Forrester did a thorough job of evaluating the suppliers. More to come on that.

That Forrester study was a suprise to me, Charlie. Perhaps people have underestimated IT's attachment to those entrenched HP systems mgmt tools.
