Re: NIST Cyber Framework
This sounds like a very important document and a significant first step in the development of an industry cybersecurity standard. I'm curious as to the scope of the framework. It the focus primarly on bricks-and-mortar infrastructure, or does it also include practices involving cloud computing?

NIST Cyber Framework
Thanks Gerald for providing an outsiders view on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. It's certainly been a bit frustrating to watch one administration after the next, and one Congress after the next, fail to gain real traction in getting a private-public sector set of standards in place for protecting critical infrastructure.  So it's interesting to see how the threat of potential litigation may become the force --  and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework the wedge -- to getting infrastructure owners to at least look seriously at the merits of meeting best industry risk management practices.
