Dell, trusted system integrator?
Dell's future lies in becoming a trusted IT integrator for those businesses that can't necessarily invest in a large, sophisticated IT staff themselves. But at what size of company and what level of operations do you shoot for? There's a big appetite for systems that come with virtualization in place and network swtich attached. Don't smaller companies want to get more milesage out of their servers? Virtualization would help but it has to arrive with a right-sized price tag. Dell is well positioned to apply the know-how to do this, if it plays its cards right.
