Do you see the need?
Interesting that GE sees the potential to mesh workforce optimization with analytic apps for asset tracking and patient flow. Do you see this as something that is needed?

I agree, that element of staff optimization combined with asset optimization struck me as the most interesting prospect. Critical staff/skills can be every bit as much a bottleneck as a missing or overbooked piece of equipment, right?

One element of the API Healthcare tech I forgot to mention, which GE is apparently interested in, is "patient classification" - understanding the types of patients and patient needs so the hospital can staff appropriately.
