What Corp USA Might Learn From Government
Corporate America would probably shudder at the idea of looking at what the US Government does with data governance.  But the National Archives and Records Administration, charged with preserving data for generations, has devoted a lot of energy to the subject that might be useful for companies to consider.

No pain, no policy
Time and time again, it has been demonstrated in no uncertain terms that unless and until there is pain to the bottom line, companies will continue negligent data governance just as they are negligent with consumer data security.
