Changes to Facebook Business Pages
I'm not a big fan of the changes. My question however is this, Is it possible that the newest updates are NOT mobile responsive?

Its tough enough to keep up with the size changes of all the options on all of the social media platforms, but THEN, not to have them work across devices is irresponsible on the part of the platform.

If we are to be held to responsive design, shouldn't the giants of social media be expected to do the same with their cadre of personnel to handle coding and design? 

I'm not opposed to change for the better. I am opposed to change for change's sake.

But facebook pages organic reach is declining
These changes are good improvement to UI, but, will it really help Facebook Page Owners. I came across this interesting article which tells how facebook organic reach is declining and facebook is forcing businesses to pay more to reach to their own fans.

I don't know if I'm happy or sad with this change. I would rather like to see a change where the organic reach is increased.

Paid content is becoming a standard for a business that would like to gain a few extra customers through their Facebook business page, social media and connections through it is becoming important. Facebooks "likes" are a strange area, for instance, it is difficult to estimate the long term value of 1,000 extra likes, so ROI concerns come into play. And many businesses would like to anchor their online presences as defined by their website, not as defined by their Facebook page.

Looks like Facebook Page Tabs are gone, or mostly gone
The feature of Facebook Pages that allowed you to create your own custom page tabs, which has been repeatedly deemphasized in the last several redesigns, looks like it will vanish or nearly so. At one point, you could create a welcome tab urging people to like your page before they could even see the stream of posts. That's been gone for a while, although you could still have tabs that showed different messages depending on whether or not people liked your page.

Now, the row of icons below the cover image that pointed to page tabs has been wiped out, although I'm told it will still be possible to navigate to them through some less prominent navigation element. Not live on my pages yet.

Sad day for me. One of my minor claims to fame was that I created a Facebook Tab Manager for WordPress, a plugin for managing tab content with the tools of that blogging system. But tabs are one of those features that have been fading in importance as Facebook maneuvers businesses away from free tools available on its platform to paid advertising.
