re: Did Greed Kill Flash For Mobile Devices?
Big difference between Flash Lite and Flash. Case in point, I have a Nokia E71 which can run Flash Lite. Makes it decent for watching Youtube videos, but DOES NOT allow me to watch vides on Comedy Central, also does not allow me to listen to Major League Baseball (not even the Audio Only Stream which would be low bandwidth, or even XM Radio which would also be essentially audio only for low bandwidth). For these "REAL" applications, you need Adobe Flash (in most cases 9.x or above). Flash Lite just will not get the job done. It would seem that either Flash Lite couldn't do the authentication that was required or Adobe didn't work with developers and companies to educate them on the value of programming to the older Flash Lite functionality so these applications would run on a wider variety of mobile platforms.

I agree with everything here. Flash was badly mismanaged on the mobile side and Flash will die on the desktop (though that will take a few years).
