Re: Waterproofing
Lorna brings up the key point: I don't think it is hard to waterproof the smartphone cases, it just adds to the base price. I shell out for a waterproof case, gladly. It has saved me several times.

Waterproofing seems like a small thing, until you drop your phone into the sink. How technically difficult and costly is it to make a device water resistant?
