Have to agree that this article should have been split into iPad and Android versions and not simply labeled "tablet". Some people understand there are differences. I am sure it helped readership of the article, but not satisfaction with author or website. It is good to see the new things being done with tablets, but presentation and accuracy still need to be parts of the experience.

I guess I should not be surprised since this is from Information Week, but the title is more than a little misleading. Believe it or not, the iPad is not the only tablet made.

The title of the article is a bit misleading and disappointing. The "Ten Tablet Tricks" are not for tablets in the generic sense of the word. Five were exclusively for iPads, three were Android only, and three were for iPads or Android. Go to Apple.com and their iPad pages never refer to it as a tablet. If you wanted it to be all-inclusive, perhaps a more balanced journalistic approach would have been to provide both iPad and Android apps for each trick. Nobody comes out satisfied with this incomplete article - Android users who are told what the iPad can do but Android cannot, and iPad users are told what Android devices can do but iPad cannot. Hmm. Some tablets are more equal than others.
