Many companies are developing more video to engage their customers, and many smart companies are fleshing out their content store with customer-generated video. The iPhones new video capabilities make the process of shooting and editing better-quality videos that much easier. According to Apple, the iPhone 5s backside illumination sensor and large aperture on the iSight camera let in more light, making videos brighter. In addition, the camera offers white balance and noise reduction capabilities, as well as image stabilization, that will improve the quality of videos in almost any set. Users can also now take photos while recording video. Video shot on the iPhone 5 are 20% smaller in file size, but retain their full-resolution quality, according to Apple. This means they will take less time to email or send via MMS.
