By now, we've seen a lot about Research In Motion's first touch-screen BlackBerry. We've seen the Vodafone teaser videos, read about the specs, and heard differing accounts on how good the virtual keyboard is. Well, word on the street is that the official announcement is coming tomorrow.RIM, of course, remains mum, but word from Time.com says the announcement will come tomorrow. It seems to pass the smell test, as Verizon already has a teaser page up. Additionally, if you saw How I Met Your Mother last night, you would have seen a teaser commercial (sorry for the low resolution):

So, why am I so interested in the Storm? From what we've seen and heard so far, this will give Verizon customers a legitimate touch-screen iPhone 3G competitor. It's also interesting to see how well RIM can move from its stuffy corporate roots to a true consumer-play handset. The rumored release date is in November, and be sure that I'm working RIM to get my hands on one.
