re: Craft Brewer Likes Taste of SAP Business One App
OrchestratedBEER does include all the financials and accounting functions a brewery needs. OrchestratedBEER is built on the SAP Business One platform, which is an ERP solution from SAP for Small and Midsized Enterprises. SAP Business One provides the financials, inventory, production, CRM, HR, and other core business functions. Orchestra then extends the application by building brewery specific functionality that "runs inside" the SAP Business One application. This model of extending the application is one of the key reasons Orchestra chose to build our solutions on SAP software.
OrchestratedBEER differs from other ERP "bolt on" modules, because SAP Business One provides a framework for building applications that run inside the SAP software, creating a single seamless experience for the end user. If you are familiar with the SME ERP space, SAP Business One is probably the best kept secret in the industry. We hope to help SAP change that.
Doug didn't mention it in the article, but it's pretty amazing for a startup brewery to be running an SAP solution even before they turn a dollar of profit. Just 10 yrs ago, SAP solutions were only available to the world's largest breweries. But today, craft breweries can get started on OrchestratedBEER OnDemand for a small upfront investment and monthly price that even a startup can afford.
I also wanted to point out that not only is the US market for craft beer growing rapidly, but we're seeing the same thing in other countries as well. OrchestratedBEER is already being marketed in Canada, Australia, and South Africa through our network of certified SAP Business One & OrchestratedBEER partners. We believe the demand for local beer is a global phenomenon, and we plan to be the company that helps all these breweries Run Better.
And, better run craft breweries is something I think we can all appreciate.
